A Living
Map of Graph
State of the Graph is a comprehensive, up-to-date repository, visualization, and analysis of the global graph technology ecosystem.
It’s designed to give practitioners, vendors, and investors a clear, vendor‑inclusive view of how graph technology is evolving, from foundational systems to advanced AI applications.
Think of it as a living map of the space that makes the landscape easier to see and navigate, without requiring you to track every vendor and category on your own.
Our Story
At Connected Data London 2024, the idea for State of the Graph crystallized in a hallway conversation. A practitioner, an analyst, and a designer – Maya, George, and Anisha – met in person for the first time, bringing together over 40 years of combined experience in graphs and design.
In that conversation, Maya posed a simple but ambitious question: What if we joined forces to map the entire graph technology landscape in a way that is living, navigable, and truly vendor‑inclusive?
Turning that question into reality began in July 2025, when we started working on the project in earnest and in stealth mode, cataloguing, structuring, visualizing, and continuously updating a rich body of data on graph offerings worldwide.
